Alphabet Slideshow Challenge (Photo of the Week #4)



My Photo of the Week entry this week is a response to Chica's Photo Projectz challenge... to put together a collection of my photos representing all the letters of the alphabet.

I decided to use all existing photos I have on my hard drive / backups ... if only to give me a good excuse to look back through older photos.

I'm not sure I chose the best method to create a slideshow (I used Photo Story 3) ... but it worked anyways. It only outputs in wmv format (Windows Media) ... so if you can't view that file type let me know and I'll try to convert the file somehow.

Anyhoo... without further ado... here it is... save this file and play away (right click the link, save as...

I uploaded the video to Youtube... hopefully those who can't watch the link above, can see this video. The quality of it is horrible, but better than nothing...

O.M.G. that was just too cool for words. I especially loved the pooping prohibited one..LOL!

That was a neat way to do things, easier then having it on the site where it could potentially mess up a blog, so hurrah!

Heh. I thought people would enjoy the "P" one. lol

I had to really think for a few of the letters, and get creative. :p

That's what I was worried about. Like I said, it's a Windows Media file... I'm not sure if any Mac players will play it. :(

Hmm that's weird how it took quality away from it. Although it isn't as bad as you made it sound. I find with some of my older images, that are saved as a lesser quality image, that it just won't do justice. It is always pixely in videos. Although I think what you did was just simply the file format the video was in. Not sure. I make all mine in Windows Media Center. Easy as pie.

My You tube videos are very poor quality compared to the originals from my album launch but I suppose it's so it doesn't slow things down too much! *heads off to Youtube* - will be back to comment ha ha!

Chica: Yeah, all I did was take the wmv file and upload it to Youtube... Youtube must do some compression of the video, because the quality definitely dropped. I don't have Media Center, just plain old XP Home.
